TJLacey Designs specialize in helping clients increase the value and beauty of their homes or businesses by creating elegant outdoor living spaces. We create beautiful landscape designs by combining seasonal color, perennials, evergreens, deciduous plants and hardscape areas. Our ultimate goal is to ensure that you are completely satisfied with the end results of your project.
My name is Tom Lacey and I am the owner and a Landscape Designer. I have been in the landscape business for 40+ years in all aspects of the industry. Having personally performed all phases of installations, I bring this unique experience to the design, being sure to consider the installer. I have been doing design work for designers and contractors in the US and Canada, all via the internet.

Third, the investment you make in your landscape will payoff in multiple ways, in resale, in comfort, and in harmony to mention a few.
What do you get from TJLacey Designs?
All designs are black and white on an 18 x 24 sheet and are plan view, larger formats are available depending on the scope of the project. Plans are sent to you as a PDF, which you can easily get multiple copies from any local printer. Your design could be a simple one or very detailed, allowing any contractor to easily complete a takeoff for bidding. Designs can be layered to show various aspects: softscape, hardscape, water feature, or dimensional, for example, all on separate sheets. Elevation designs are also available, giving you an idea of what the project may look like once completed.
Color designs are available upon request, as well as 3D renderings. The design would be your property, so you can make as many copies as you like. They are yours and can easily be updated to reflect any changes that may occur either prior to installation or during installation.
So how much does this cost?
Pricing includes one (1) change after the initial presentation, this is usually adequate to correct any adjustments after the presentation. All designs are charged at $75.00 per hour with a $395.00 minimum design fee. Additional changes would be billed at $75.00 per hour.
Foundation Plans, plans that are designed for plantings or hardscaping around the foundation of the house can take anywhere from approximately 4-8 hrs depending on the complexity of the project.
Entire property plans can include a master plan, dimension plan, irrigation and lighting design, drainage layout and construction detail plans.
